  • Best Chai Latte I think I have EVER had. Service was pleasant. It's the type of establishment you order when you walk in, seat yourself, and they bring your food when it's ready.
Speaking of the food, it was amazing! The breakfast potatoes were out of this world. 10 stars for flavor. I had the veggie bagel and hubby had the French Toast- btw, the small order is huge! You only need the full order if you're feeding say, an army??
Food came up quick, was delicious, and at a reasonable cost.Sit outside on the patio and enjoy the scenery. Cute little place, lots of character.
Grandma knows what she's doing. No frills. No bathroom. No problem.
  • Chose to go to Grandmas Coffee House after catching the Haleakala sunrise. You'll find plenty of parking either up front or along side of the road. Super cute, homey feels walking up to the little cafe. When we arrived there was a short line and plenty of seating. Together my friend and I ordered a waffle with fruit, Veggie bagel with added avocado and egg, a latte, and an americano.
Pretty good size breakfast for only $30, which is a nice change of pace back to the pricey breakfast spots back where I am in Kihei.
After we ordered we took a seat on the outside patio. Didn't take too long for our food to come out. Gotta say the food was pretty darn good! It was a pleasant surprise after I was a bit concerned when our coffee was fairly bad... which is the reason I knocked a star. Overall a good experience though! Good food, cozy ambiance, and nice employees, great way to start the day. I would just suggest going for the food over coffee. 🙂
  • The food is oh so good. I had their eggs Benedict with bacon instead of Canadian bacon and served on a cornbread waffle superb.
The potatoes served with are perfectly cooked: crispy and light on the outside, soft inside and wonderfully seasoned.
Out of the way but busy for breakfast. Serves lunch too, Been coming here for almost 30 years.
  • Best Local Spot In all Upcountry Maui!!! Love the food, chai lattes w/ cinnamon, beautiful flower decor, & overall peaceful atmosphere. We always come before the morning rush, or lunch hour. The elders that are always here make us smile every time!!!
Mahalo to the staff & chefs who make this place our all time favorite.
